Replacing a Flat Tire

Replacing a flat tire isn't hard, but it does take some muscle. Your first step is to have no fear and focus on finding the equipment you need in your car. Locate the jack, and read the directions on how to lift your car up.

The lug nuts on your tire will loosen if you turn the wrench counter-clockwise. Take the lug nuts off and remove the tire. Lug nuts may be very tight, and you'll have to use muscle to get the lug nuts off. If you have a hubcap, pry it off using the other end of the lug nut wrench. Place your spare tire over the area where your old tire was, and tighten the lug nuts.

Bring your car in to Volvo Cars Erie and we will get a new tire on your car as soon as possible. Stay safe on the road and learn how to do basic repairs.
